Celebration of Young Musicians Concert

This afternoon, in St Andrew’s Hall Norwich, Strings players, from around the county, took part in a concert organised by the Norfolk Music Service. There were two groups, Fiddlesticks for younger beginners and The Classic Strings group for those from Grades  1-4. Liene and Lizzie were part of the Classic Strings group who played a mixture of pieces including Largo from ‘ New World Symphony’. Music teachers from the Norfolk Music Service played a string ensemble- Pachelbel’s Canon.

The concert was of a high standard and showed progression between the two groups. The teacher’s ensemble choice of music was beautifully played and  provided a model  for our budding young musicians to aspire to.

Our thanks goes to Mrs Clinton for her hard work today. A big well done to Liene and Lizzie for attending the workshops for the event and practising the pieces. We are proud of you both.
