Year 6 Massed Baking

Mrs Carver bravely decided to bake with all of Year 6 and myself today. We had a lovely time making scones. We were able choose if we wanted to add dried fruit, dried cranberries or fresh blueberries.

Whilst the scones were  baking in the activity room the children washed up, this skill might need some improvement, we got there in the end!

How did the scones turn out Year 6 parents? I made blueberry scones and they rapidly disappeared when Mr B and my daughter found them, they declared them ‘yummy!’ What’s your verdict?

  1. You can tell it’s been a long week- I read it as ‘masked baking’! Could have been interesting! Looking forward to Ella being in year six and bringing some baking home!

  2. They do look yummy. I think that I need a whole classroom of pupils to make my cheese and chives muffins delicious. I made some tonight and my husband said that they were “rubbery” but perhaps he meant “lovely”.
