I was lucky enough to be able to attend the KS2 Celebrating Success Assembly as a parent but also took on the role of a monitoring visit as a governor at the same time. All children from Year 3 through to Year 6 were able to showcase the various subjects they had been learning throughout the term and how the new curriculum was being implemented for Year 6.
Every child was able to participate and it was lovely to see children helping each other with the presentations which showed a great school spirit especially around friendship and helping others.
The assembly ended with awards for a number of pupils who were cheered and clapped by the whole of KS2.
It was a pleasure to see how well behaved the children were throughout which was a great dedication to the values and ethos of the school and all the staff and children.
