Y2 Aboriginal Style Art

This half term Year 2 have been learning a little bit about Australian Aboriginal culture. They learnt that Aboriginal artists often tell stories through their art and use lots of dots and symbols. Take a look at some of the fantastic work the class did, each of the pictures tells a story. We were also very lucky to see some boomerangs, a didgeridoo and listen to some aboriginal music which was kindly brought in by Logan.

  1. I love these! Well done Year 2, perhaps we could have an exhibition of them at the end of term as I bet they would look powerful all hung together.
