Fun at West Stow Anglo Saxon Village

Year Four had a busy day today at West Stow.  We had a lot to squeeze into our day and activities included exploring an Anglo Saxon village and all the different homes within it, handling artefacts, dressing up, spending time in a museum, listening to talks, solving riddles and playing games.  The children were able to show off how much they already knew about the Anglo Saxons.

It was a pleasure taking the children out for the day, they were enthusiastic and sensible.  The weather was kind and much fun was had by all.  Thank you to the staff who helped make it such a successful day!

I hope you enjoy the slideshow!!  Miss Harwin

  1. Thank you for organising this trip to the Anglo Saxon village. It seems so interesting and it is a brilliant way of learning how our ancestors lived such a long time ago.
