Bus Children

Over the last week we have had several reported incidents of poor behaviour on both of the school buses. This is from children in different year groups.

The children have been reminded about the expected behaviour on the buses in the morning and after school.

Please can you talk with your child/children, if they travel on the bus, about the need to be safe and sensible through the journey.

  • No moving to different seats when the bus has stopped.
  • Keeping seatbelt on until the bus has fully stopped or completed the manoeuvre it is doing.
  • Being sensible and not calling out to each other or using words that will hurt or offend someone.
  • Reminding them that silly behaviour can be a distraction to the driver and could cause an accident.

We take safety very seriously and are becoming concerned with a few children (it isn’t all of them) Further action may result in children being asked not to travel on the bus for a period of time.
