Scarborough ’17 Day 4

It may have been a soggy start to the day but it hasn’t dampened our spirits. We travelled to Whitby on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and were taught about its history by a couple of volunteers. Unfortunately the weather was so grotty we were forced to get some chips to warm ourselves up (they did just the job). After that we walked up the 199 steps (counted and verified by 36 children) and explored Whitby Abbey. Another great day had by all!
