All Saints Church, Stibbard

We are very lucky, as a church school, to have our local church in Stibbard, All Saints supporting and encouraging our children in many areas. They really enjoy us making use of the church throughout the year for important services and visiting the church as part of R.E. Rev Sally comes into school each week to see the children and take our morning worship on Mondays.

It would be lovely ,if you felt able, to help the church in the run up to Christmas. The children who live in Guist and Stibbard have been given letters today inviting them to help in the Nativity play. Every family has also been given a flyer about the Christmas Eve Crib service at 4pm.  If you would be great to  find the time to attend and help encourage the children to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, it is so easily lost in the commercialism of Christmas these days.

I’ve attached a couple of other links that may be useful to some of you looking for a child friendly service to attend at Christmas.

  1. Families (particularly those in Great and Little Ryburgh) might also like to know that on Friday 22nd December from 7pm, there are Carols by Candlelight in St Andrew’s Church. The following evening from 6pm outside Ryburgh Community Shop, the community are invited to gather and sing Carols around the Christmas Tree.
