This morning Year 4 put on their wellies again, grabbed their science books and went for a lovely ramble around the field opposite school. We found and identified many trees, looked at the margin around the field left for wildlife and noticed how the hedgerow had been roughly cut back. We saw some fungi and discussed why we shouldn’t touch it because there are many types which are poisonous to us.
It was a pleasure to take the children out. They were enthusiastic, keen to work and best of all happy. Well done Year 4!
