A Lovely Farewell to Mrs Batcock

On Tuesday afternoon we had a special assembly to say Farewell to Mrs Batcock. She has been a wonderful headteacher to us all. She would always listen and take an interest in what the children had to tell her, she guided the staff with compassion and was always able to see a way through our problems.

In the assembly we listened to past pupils thoughts, it was lovely seeing them looking so smart in their high school uniforms and speaking so eloquently. We welcomed friends of the school from the diocese and our governors.

We really wish Mrs Batcock and her husband Neil the very best for their future and her continued recovery as they leave to live in France. Many of us are already planning visits to see them!
