I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend. You have four challenges to complete today – Please find the Powerpoint on our classes webpage or Seesaw to support you with your learning.
Phonics – Challenge 1:
Watch the Letters and sound video and write down some words that include the sound.
You will be exploring the phonemes, ue, u-e – you will find out that you can pronounce the sound with a single phoneme, digraph (2 letters 1 sound) or a split digraph (a sound which has two letters but it is split up by another sound).

Write down three different words which include the sound.
Write your own sentence using at least one word that includes the sound.

English – Challenge 2:
Matching Descriptive language to a character
We ended last week by choosing descriptive words and phrases to explain two of our characters in the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Today’s challenge is to read the different descriptive words and match them up to the character.

Maths – Challenge 3:
Applying Make 10 to differences (Part 1)
In today’s lesson you will be using the knowledge of number bonds to 10 to helps us workout out the difference of numbers by making 10.

Exploring ‘Pitch’
Your challenge today is to explore different pitches using your voices.
