Phonics – Challenge 1:
Consolidating our sounds!
Today you’re going to be focusing on the sounds /oa/ /ar/ /oo/
Watch the video from Letters and Sounds.
Write three words that include the sound
Come up with a sentence that includes one of those words.

Handwriting challenge: Complete a line of the letter ‘b,B’ both lowercase and Capital. Then think of two words with this letter at the start.

English – Challenge 2:
Planning your story – Resolution – What could happen to your character?
Your challenge is to think about how your good character could save the day or solve the problem that you came up with in your innovative story yesterday.
To complete the challenge either draw, write or record you explaining how your main character will solve the problem.

Maths – Challenge 3:
To find half of a quantity.
You will be dividing objects up and sharing them amongst different people to show half of a quantity.

History – Challenge 4:
Creating a timeline.
Last History lesson you wrote a list of what you’ve done in chronological order during that day.
Your challenge today is to try and create your own timeline of your day using the template on the powerpoint.
