Phonics – Challenge 1:
Consolidating our sounds!
Today you’re going to be focusing on blending longer words.
Watch the video from Letters and Sounds.
Write three words from the video.
Come up with a sentence that includes one of those words.

Handwriting challenge: Complete a line of the letter ‘f,F’ both lowercase and Capital. Then think of two words with this letter at the start.
English – Challenge 2:
Writing your story – Resolution – What could happen to your character?
Your challenge today is to write the next part of your story. Read your story back and look at your plan from last week. Once you are familiar with your idea of the resolution takes some time to write the next part of your story.
Maths – Challenge 3:
To recognise, read and write numbers to 100
Todays lesson starts a new unit for the class. This unit of work will focus on numbers between 50-100.
In today’s lesson you will be exploring place value with these numbers.
