The Year 1 artists have shown excellent focus working on their mixed media observational drawings. They were each given a section of painted card from last week’s creation and chose beautiful plants to draw, first in pencil then in pen. They then worked in bright chalk pastels to make their drawings ‘pop’ out of the page. Mrs Cairns was so impressed by their careful looking and joyful colour choices.
