During the second part of the Autumn term, Year 1 explored bird feeders in DT.  We had a chance to make 4 different bird feeders and evaluate how effective they were. We enjoyed learning lots of new skills and working on our perseverance as some of the bird feeders were a little bit tricky to make.  

Year 1 loved visiting the Welly Day area each week and assessing whether their bird feeders had been used. A highlight was watching a Robin eat from a bird feeder we had made!

Finally, to identify which was our favourite bird feeder we used our Computing skills to make a tally chart and pictogram. Take a look at all our DT and Computing fun in the presentation below.
