During our Art lesson yesterday, the Year 1 children were told by Mrs Cairns that they were going to be exploring watercolours and become the art teachers. The children were each given a watercolour set, a beautiful brush, their sketchbook and some water. They were challenged to discover the different ways that the paints could be used. The children then shared these ideas with the rest of the class and annotated their sketchbooks so that they didn’t forget their learning!
