Phonics – Challenge 1:
Consolidating our sounds!
Today you’re going to be focusing on the sounds /or/ /ur/ /oo/
Watch the video from Letters and Sounds.
Write three words that include the sound
Come up with a sentence that includes one of those words.

Handwriting challenge: Complete a line of the letter ‘c,C’ both lowercase and Capital. Then think of two words with this letter at the start.
English – Challenge 2:
Writing your story – Introduction
Over the course of the next 5 lessons you will be writing your own Traditional Story. Each lesson will be based on one of the 5 structures of a traditional story. You will need to look back at your plan and write the introduction to your story.
(Please give yourself enough space in your book for your story to follow on each day
Remember!
Your introduction must:
Start with the phrase – Once upon a time,
Introduce and describe your main character and good setting.
Maths – Challenge 3:
To find one quarter of a shape.
You will be dividing shapes to present a quarter of an object.

Science – Challenge 4:
Finding features of a Fish
To complete this challenge – create a mind map that describes some of the unique features of a fish. Use the video to help you research the answers.
