We are so proud of Year 2 today who worked incredibly hard on their first sentence stacking lesson. They had to describe a beach scene!  These lessons are broken into chunks. Each chunk has a focus lens – today it was touching, hearing and noticing/similes. In each chunk, we word collect on the thinking side first and then turn our words into sentences on the writing side, following a model. Here are some wonderful examples from George, Amy and Austin.
