Olivia!

What a show the children put on both Tuesday and Wednesday evening! The children really raised the roof with their spectacular performance .

The play was based on the classic tale Oliver but with a modern day plot given the Stibbard touch!

We were treated to some fantastic songs sung with real gusto and some very brave solos which mesmerised the audience.

It was heartwarming to see all of the children put their all into the show. There were some brilliantly timed one liners and gags which really got the audience laughing out loud. The children were a credit to the school and to the Y5 and Y6 teachers and staff who have worked tirelessly to produce such a spectacular show. Hopefully some children may even be inspired to pursue a career in the arts.

All of the children should be tremendously proud of themselves; from the superb actors and actresses who acted their socks off, to the expert stage hands who ensured each scene was smoothly dealt with and of course the amazing musical/IT directors to really did make sure the show went on!

You were all amazing and ensured Olivia was a huge triumph!

Now the fat lady really has left the building!

Message from the Friends

‘Just a reminder to send back sports day (23rd May) BBQ orders by Monday.

If sports day is rained off, could you please send your child in with a lunch or organise a sports themed packed lunch (as advertised) with the office. All orders for the BBQ will be carried over to our contingency sports day on Friday.’

Sports Day 2018

Screenshot 2018-05-24 at 21.20.16What a fantastic sports day we’ve had! Beautiful weather, great sportsmanship and a very enjoyable picnic. Well done to all of the children who gave it their all and had a great time. Special mention needs to go to Mr Coppack for doing such a good job of organising the day.

Cricket Success!

A massive well done to our Year 6 cricket team who only went and won! They played six teams winning 5 games and only conceded 2 wickets. They were such a credit to the school and displayed excellent sportsmanship. County final here we come!
