To support our children and their families throughout the duration of schools being closed we will regularly update this page with lots of different resources to help children carry on learning at home. We are also sharing support resources.

All of the resources below are free to use and you do not need at any time to enter any payment details. 
We want to ensure that during this extended period all of our children remain safe while online.

Early Years and Phonics

Head to Phonics Play Comics for fun comics to teach children phonics while at home.

Phonics Bloom has lots of fun and interactive games to help children learn phonics. From their first letters right up to fluency.

Reading

Oxford Owl home resources have lots of tablet-friendly books, for pre-school children through to Year 6.

Maths

NRich is full of fun and engaging maths activities.

Support Resources

Nelson’s Journey have put together a useful document for parents and carers –  Coronavirus Anxiety: How can I help my child?

If you need support through this time for you and for your children, the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families have specific advice and activities to help.

The Children’s Commissioner has put together a guide for children – Children’s Guide to coronavirus which helps explain the situation we are in and how children can stay safe. It also aims to answer questions that children may have that are more difficult to answer including worries, what to do and how to get help.
